Acquire the basic knowledge about the physical features of the sound.

1   Acquire the basic knowledge of the sinusoidal oscillations: simple harmonic motion
2   Acquire the basic knowledge of the Decibel scales used in audiology
3   Acquire the basic knowledge of the measurement of noise exposure
