Course Objective

In this course understands the four fundamental concepts of nursing, which are human, health, environment and nursing, and acquires the knowledge and skill of providing care based on psychomotor skill development theory and models, ethical principles.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To explain the four concepts in the field of Nursing Fundamentals,
2   To carry out the roles and responsibilities of the nurse within the frame of Nursing Fundamentals in protecting, developing, treating and rehabilitating the health of the adult individual,
3   To provide nursing care with an integrated understanding,
4   To explain the reasons and the scientific underpinnings of these reasons concerning the practice of Nursing Fundamentals,
5   To practice the practices of Nursing Fundamentals on an evidence based form,
6   To apply the practice of Nursing Fundamentals in accordance with the ethical principles,
7   To satisfy the health care need of the individual.
