Course Objective

It is aimed to provide the students general knowledge about orthoses, materials used in fabrication of orthotics, principles in orthotic applicationsn and orthotic applications in different pathologies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the definitions of orthosis.
2   Knows the materials of orthosis.
3   Knows the assessment principles of orthotic patients.
4   Knows the joint-specific orthotic applications and performs them.
5   Follows the current literature linked with orthosis.
