Course Objective |
It is generally recommended by national and international institutions administrating graduate training that students should acquire skills in education. With this perpective, biochemistry practicals designed systematically within the framework of a credited course will provide the graduate student skills in practical education which will later be useful in his/her career, whether he/she works as an academician or in other platforms. The course is designed with this aim. The following main points will be discussed: status of practicals in biochemistry education; responsibilites of the educator (instructor) and of the student; types of practicals and their objectives, evaluation of practicals . |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
The course will be composed of the different activities -theoretical hours, planning sessions, and the practical hours face to students. All these components will be intertwined and interactive techniques will be adapted. |

Course Policies and Rules |
The student is expected to read the resources before coming to class. In addition, he/she is expected to contribute actively to discussion, group-work and practicals. Attending in at least 70 percent of lectures and at least 80 percent of practicals is mandatory. The student should inform the instructor if he/she will not be able to attend the practical. |
