Course Objective

To awere of the aims of the science education in early childhood, and to design activities which would be cover the content of the science education and develop scientific process and attitudes for children.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Express nature of science and its characteristics.
2   Explain main goals of early childhood science education.
3   Identify early childhood science contents, science processes and science skill and attitudes
4   Describe effective learning and teaching environments of early childhood science education.
5   Will able to determine appropriate approaches and methods for concepts regarding early childhood science content.
6   Design learning activities about life science including living and nonliving things, plants, animals, human body, foods and nutrition, and environment.
7   Design learning activities about physical science including matter, force, energy, sound, light, and simple machines.
8   Design learning activities about earth science including weather, water, air, and solar system.
