Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach Ottoman historians and history and show transformations and evolutions that Ottoman History and Historiography underwent, via first hand sources.

1   to have knowledge about biography of Ottoman Historians
2   to compare Ottoman Histories
3   to analyze Ottoman Histories
4   to comment on changes of Ottoman Historians in the historiography
5   to comment on the contemporary problems of Ottoman historiography studies
