Course Objective

To teach how Turkish Revolution reflected to Turkish literature, novels and authors

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to examine how Independence War process reflected Turkish literature in historical process
2   To be able to examine the reflection of fundamental reforms which began with the Republic in Turkey to literature
3   To be able to identify literary works which approach Independence War and Rervolution process
4   To be able to examine critically novels and novelists that issued Independence War starts from 1920's
5   To be able to compare Independence War phenomena which is one of the most important areas of Turkish History with the reflection way of it to novels that were written in various periods
6   To be able to examine reflections of political reforms to Turkish novel during the structuring process following the proclomation of the Republic
