Course Objective

To enable students to think and generate ideas by increasing their existing knowledge about the psychological foundations of religious education within the framework of the psychology of education.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To improve information on the psychological foundations of religious education.
2   To understand the relationship between the psychology and religious education.
3   To learn discussions on the psychology and religious education.
4   To comment religious education the context of these discussions.
5   To gain a logical and reasonable information on the necessity of religious education in terms of psychology.
6   To learn right-thinking and generating ideas.

9 Discussion I: Which needs are there behind behaviours
10 Discussion II: What is the contribution of religious education to development of positive self-perceptions
11 Discussion III: Is there a relationship between psychotherapy and religious education
12 Discussion IV: What is the place and function of religion in the psychological pre-behaviour processes for Ghazali
13 Conclusion: How can we explain the necessity of religious education in terms of psychology
14 General evaluation on the psychological foundations of religious education.
