Course Objective

To examine womens place and the problems encountered in working life and to provide students the ability to evaluate reasons of limited labour force participation of women.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To explain place of women in society,of women in society
2   To know reasons and barriers of womens limited participation in labour market
3   To analyse the structure of women employment
4   To evaluate womens working conditions in different sectors and industries
5   To discuss the effects of the change in economic, social and cultural structures on women employment

Students supposed to read the materials before lecture and participate the classroom discussions
Students are expected to make presentations about the subjects given by the lecturer.
