Course Objective

Assess the internal and external dimensions that make up enterprise production systems, taking into account the intended production steps in designing a system that efficiently and effectively to gain perspective on a system to elucidate the production system.

4 The inputs of production system design and their objectives, X oriented design approaches, concurrent engineering.
5 Manufacturing equipment decisions, CAD/CAM/CIM systems, flexible manufacturing systems, robots and aıtomation
6 Plant and machinery layout, process planning
7 Inventory strategy and design of storage requirements
8 The human element in the manufacturing systems, ergonomics
9 Information system design
10 Measurement and control system design
11 Special systems (quality systems, security systems, automation systems, etc.) related design decisions
