Course Objective |
The main purpose of this course is to examine migration in Europe; globalisation of migration; the concepts of assimilation, integration and acculturation within a theoretical and methodological framework. For this purpose, Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands will be analysed as case studies and the current situation of the migration policies in these countries will be discussed by taking into consideration of their economic, social and cultural impacts. |
