Course Objective

The aim of the course is to explore and discuss the problem of regional economic disparities in the EU and related regional policies to reduce economic, social and territorial unequalities. The course introduces measures of regional development and related analysis tools to understand regional disparities. The course offers an understanding of the historical perspective of regional policies as well as current issues and prospects.
