Course Objective

The course aims to provide the students ability to evaluate the approaches about Local and Regional Governance in EU in the process of European integration.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To define the importance of Local and Regional Governance,
2   To specify the basic arguments of Local and Regional Governance,
3   To define the importance of regional development,
4   To analyze the difference between governance and local and regional development,
5   To identify the applied local governance institutions in the EU,
6   To obtain the ability of doing independent research.
