Course Objective

The aim of this course is to investigate the technical and artistic distribution of academic classical ballet education according to the degrees in accordance with the method. In this course, the content of classical ballet technique, teaching methods, aims and the connections between them are examined and the distribution of technical and artistic education according to years in the training process is explained.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, the student will be able to learn Vaganova Classical Ballet Method theories
2   To have practical knowledge about ballet technique
3   To be able to transfer the scientific research process and its results as different visual and demonstrative presentations with the homework researches to be prepared
4   Students will be able to have knowledge about ballet lessons, images, visuals, historical films covering the relevant periods, performing arts works and documentaries, and innovative, contemporary approaches to ballet technique.
5   Learning the technical skills of each level, the theoretical knowledge acquired in this field can use the practical.
