Course Objective

Working conditions and environment can affect the productivity, health and safety of the people within it. For this reason, observation of the sources of hazardous exposures in the work environment is of great importance. This course will provide an introduction to the process of surveillance of the work environment for the assessment of a workplace occupational health needs.

2   To define and classify the type of workplace and workforce

4   To conduct the surveillance of work environment for personal protective devices
5   To conduct the surveillance of work environment for physical hazards

8   To conduct the surveillance of work environment for electrical and fire safety
