Course Objective

This course aims to gain an understanding of the MSDS sheets and the essential information on the MSDS sheets. It also gains the student the knowledge of preparing a MSDS form. Every company that manufactures or distributes hazardous chemicals in most of the developing countries must prepare a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and make it available to employees who work with the company and business purchasers. Besides, for the exportation of the chemicals, their MSDS forms are required. The MSDS forms are chemical or material safety data sheets which contain essential knowledge for the safe handling and usage of hazardous materials. Therefore the MSDS forms protect lives and health of people and have an important role for work safety in workplaces.
