Course Objective

The applicable techniques, procedures, data analysis techniques to practice enzymatic analyses in plant, animal and microorganism samples will be discussed for the researchers in the field of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Examine the effective factors in enzyme activity measurements,
2   Have a knowledge as to the preparation of sample depend on reagent and source in enzymatic analysis,
3   Examine appropriate assay methods depend on enzymatic reaction,
4   Make evaluations for enzyme kinetic,
5   Examine the statistical differences in the enzyme activity assay.

Meaningful learning of the basic concepts given in presentations, association of concepts with each other, establishing the cause-result relationships and making comments by using the information available for problems and evaluating idea generation are carried out with mid-term, final and resit exams, active participation to the lecture, homework.
