Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the theory and working principles of characterization techniques of nanomaterials commonly used in research institutions. Therefore, this course aims to prepare students for the techniques that should be applied effectively in the future and to interpret the results of the analysis.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the principles of Nanocharacterization techniques by associating them with technological facts and scientific principles
2   To learn the applications of technics with on-site studies and laboratory trips
3   To have information about the preparation phase of each technique
4   To be able to analyze the experimental data of these techniques
5   To learn typical applications of Nanocharacterization
6   To have a wide knowledge about the parameters affecting the properties of nanomaterials
