Course Objective

This course covers a detailed investigation of nanoelectronics devices. It begins with an overview of microelectronics devices and circuits. After this introduction, nanoscale devices such as nanotubes, memristor, FinFET, Single electron transistor (SET), nanoelectromechanical sensors (NEM will be examined. It also covers new device concepts, device physics, circuit design. Modeling and simulation of nanoelectronics circuits will be examined. Finally fabrication and test of nanoelectronics circuits will be discussed. At least two term-projects will be given and evaluations will be used for measuring the success of the students.
