BIOTECHNOLOGY

Course Objective

To teach the applications of nanotechnology in biotechnology and biomedicine is aimed in this course. This course involves the evaluation of nano-scaled biomaterials, applications of these materials in the researches of medicine and biotechnology, future of nanobiotechnology and nano-fabrication technology

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   This course is expected to help the student to be able to examine the evaluation of nano-scaled biomaterials.
2   This course is expected to help students to be able to comprehend the applications of these materials in the biological systems.
3   This course is expected to allow students to be able to explain the usage of nanosystems in the productions of nano-scaled materials.
4   This course is expected to help students to be able to comprehend production ways of nanobiosensor, protein-based nanomachines, metalloprotein-based electronic nanodevices.
5   This course is expected is to allow students to be able to explain the preparation of organic- and biological material-based systems.
