Course Objective

The aim of the course is to get the students acquainted with the germ cells and their information, differentiation, cell migration paths, regeneration, cell death is intended to provide information for developmental biology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to the structure and formation of sperm and egg cells.
2   To understand cell differentiation and determination.
3   To have information about fertilization, sex determination and postembryonic development.
4   To understand intercellular coordination
5   To understand the importance of developmental biology.

The course is taught in a lecture, class presentation and discussion format. All class members are expected to attend and both the lecture and take part in the discussion sessions.
