Course Objective |
The main objective of this course is to introduce the key meaning of biometrics. Biometrics identifies individual characteristics based on his/her physiological contents like a fingerprint, face, voice, eyes, or ear and DNA. Since, biometric characteristics are unique in any human, they can be used authentication. Conversely biometric features like a password or a PIN, cannot be lost, stolen, or recreated. This course is primarily focused on biometrics systems, description and applications. Additionally, there are many problems in this area suitable for investigation by graudate students. |
