Course Objective

The objective of this course is to give brief information about the main topics of the infrastructural systems to the students who have not environmental engineering background. The course summarizes the subjects such as water abstraction, water transport, water treatment, water distribution, wastewater collection, treatment and disposal, plus basic infrastructural elements of solid waste management. Those topics have been introduced to the students during the undergraduate program of the Department of Environmental Engineering in different courses. Thus the course is recommended mainly for the students who do not have environmental engineering background.
