Course Objective |
This is a unique course for engineering students on air pollution control. It focuses primarily on control of particulate matter emissions. Control of gaseous pollutants such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides is also included. This course does not require a prerequisite, engineering background is sufficient. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
The course is taught in lecture format with class presentations and discussions. All class members are expected to attend the lecture hours and take part in discussion sessions. Besides the taught lectures, weekly homework assignments will be prepared by the students. The solutions to the assignment will be given and discussed in the following lecture. |
