Course Objective

Basic information on geographical information systems (GIS) will be presented to students having BSc degree in various branches of science and/or engineering. In the meantime, students will be charged to study a number of case studies on GIS in coastal zone management (CZM).

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will learn the principles of remote sensing and the use of IDRISI image processing program.
