Course Objective

The aim of this course is to give the analysis methods of non-linear control systems.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To define linear and non-linear control systems.
2   To construct open and closed-loop control structures for non-linear systems.
3   To make stability analysis of non-linear control systems.
4   To solve input-output relationship of non-linear control systems.
5   To determine the optimum control parameters for non-linear control systems.

9 Linearization, integral control and gain scheduling.
10 Computer modeling of non-linear control systems: Basic elements in Matlab Simulink.
11 Computer modeling of non-linear control systems: Solution in Matlab Simulink.
12 Computer modeling of non-linear control systems: Visualization and interpretting of solutions.
13 Discussions on case studies.
14 Discussions on case studies.
