Course Objective

Business management approach to understanding and analyzing the international maritime business environment

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding the international approach to maritime business and transport
2   Learning the tools for systems thinking, including methods to elicit the structure of international maritime business environment system
3   Understanding and application of the guidelines for ship agency and brokering functions
4   Grasping the procedures related to the liabilities and the authorities of ship agencies and brokers
5   Concluding, managing and communicating the problems arising in the ship agency and brokering environment of the international shipping markets
