to develop an understanding of logistics operations concept

1   to identify the main concepts in logistics operations
2   to enable students to be aware of emerging issues in logistics operations
3   to understand how operations management concept and logistics management provide competitive advantage at the operational and strategic levels of the organization.
4   to evaluate the logistics operations management by considering its interdisciplinary characteristics (marketing, management, organization, engineering etc.)
5   to evaluate the main solutions and analysis regarding the problems in logistics and supply chain management
