The content of this course provides an introductory approach for students to understand elements and principles of architectural design. This course aims at developing the talents of students in architectural design

8 From principles to practice (Figure-Ground, Similarity, Proximity)
9 From principles to practice (Continuity, Common Fate, Closure)
10 Ordering principles (Axis, Symmetry, Hierarchy)
11 Ordering principles (Rhythm/Repetition, Transformation, Datum)

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

This course will be given through lectures aided by visual material and the students will learn topics by attending and listen to the lectures. Homework /assignments will be prepared in accordance with the course content and presented by the students.
