Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide the students to recognize the basic concepts,
actors, and stages of conservation planning, to implement the including methods of it,
to develop a convenient technics for the historical environments and also to gain
ability to control and update of the management processes.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will be able to define conservation planning as a specialized and interdisciplinary process, (knowledge)
2   Will be able to distinguish the basic concept, stages and actors of the conservation planning, (comprehension)
3   Will be able to implement the including methods of conservation planning, (application)
4   Will be able to discuss the applications of conservation planning in different historical urban areas, (analysis)
5   Will be able to propose a appropriate conservation approaches, methodologies, and technics for the historical urban environments, (evaluation)
6   Will be able to control conservation planning process (evaluation)

This course will be given through lectures. Students will learn topics by attending
and listening to the lectures and also by prepearing and presenting the assignments
that will be given to them.
