Course Objective |
This course aims at analysing the economic structure of the city via focusing on the components of urban land use pattern such as the central business district, the zone of transition, the suburban area and the rural-urban fringe. It also aims at explaining the urban rent theory, the role of the state and the market in the formation and sharing of urban rent. |
