Course Objective |
Introduction of structure and also current opportunities and restrictions of ship building and repair sector is made in this course; and the aim is to improve the ability of the student to determine various ship designs, manufacturing methods and shipyard strategies by means of economic criteria. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
Course shall be taught by lecturing in the classroom, and student shall be required to write a research article on a subject to be determined in the beginning of the semester. Rules of writing a research article shall be taught to the student. Confirmation of learning shall be made by means of results of mid-term exam and final exam. |
