Course Objective |
Nanomaterials and nanotechnologies have been developed as a consequence of truly significant recent advances in the material science community. Nanomaterials have been widely used in the production of common consumer products, in the automotive, and other industries and also in medical applications. The course aims to investigate the properties of nanomaterials, to discuss methods of synthesis and characterizations of nanomaterials and to introduce nanomaterial product form and applications of nanomaterials in health and environment. |

Assessment Criteria |
Meaningful learning of the basic concepts given in presentations, association of concepts with each other, establishing the cause-result relationships and making comments by using the information available for problems and evaluating idea generation are carried out with mid-term and final exams, homework and presentations. |
