Course Objective

The aim of this course is to give additional knowledge about vehicle dynamics and crash mechanics to students that graduated as mechanical engineer from undergraduate education to analyse traffic accidents by using scientific method and to understand obtaining some clue that helping to evaluate them with legal perspective for appointed engineers as an expert.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   It is expected that the learner will be able to classify accidents and describe occurred traffic accidents.
2   Students will be able to compare road and vehicle structure and traces after accident and explain them with examples.
3   Students will be able to show, calculate and sketch structural and dynamic parameters of accidents.
4   Students will be able to analyze and define other methods for crash mechanic and reconstruction of traffic accidents.
5   At the end of the module, the learner will be expected to determine and formula reconstruction of traffic accidents with occurred samples
