Course Objective

To have knowledge about the importance of probability and statistical methods in geophysical engineering.
They learn to use working principles that have a stochastic characteristic.
To be knowledgeable about what type of mathematical data the Geophysical Engineer is interested in.
To have knowledge about random data describing geophysical data.
To learn the principles of describing random data.
To have basic knowledge about underground modeling studies using data obtained from geophysical studies.
Having knowledge about how to make these models with least mistakes using statistical concepts

1   Ability to analyze the data of geophysics

3   Defining the random data
4   Ability to analyze the importance of the random data to be used in investigations in geophysics
5   The ability to make the assessment and interpretation of geophysical data
