Course Objective |
Mechanical, physical and chemical properties of construction materials are determined by experimental studies. The main objective of this course is to introduce civil engineering graduate students to the fundamentals of engineering experimentation. General characteristics of measurement systems, measurement systems with electrical signals, computerized data acquisition systems, discrete sampling and analysis of time-varying signals, measurement of solid-mechanical quantities, measurement of pressure and many other topics will be discussed in this course. |
