Course Objective

The objective of this course is to demonstrate the philosophical and historical foundations of the concepts of environment and technology with regards to physical and social sciences.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student will be able to have knowledge on the basic issues and problems about the Philosophy of Environment and Technology,
2   have knowledge about the basic concepts of environmental philosophy,
3   grasp the concepts that are discussed with regard to this issue,
4   evaluate the cultural dynamics of the community with a unique viewpoint which he/she lives in with the experince that he/she get,
5   analyse the relations of environment and human, environment and nature, technology and society with regards to concepts such as modern society, modern human, environment, change, ecology, technology, science.
