Course Objective

This course will provide quantum mechanics to understand the interaction between matter and light

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Identify mechanisms of interaction of radiation with matter
2   Able to identify the various type distrubitions
3   to be able to express and apply mathematical expressions used to refer to quantum optics
4   to be able to understand the relationships between matter and light
5   Be able to describe the principles of quantum optics experiments
6   To understand the coherence of quantum states
