Course Objective

1. Introducing the basic aspects of Nuclear Physics
2. Understanding the nuclear structure and the properties.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Nuclear shape, size and masses with methods used to determine them.
2   Ability to interpret the fundamental physics, electromagnetic, quantum mechanics and statictical physics knowledge with a different point of view.
3   Ability to comprehension the mechanism of nuclear decay.
4   Ability to learn the phenomena of the interaction between nucleons.
5   Ability to explain the properties of a nucleus by using simple models and to solve problems.
6   Ability to comprehension the radioactive decay law and to solve problems.
7   Ability to comprehension the theories of decay modes and to solve problems.
8   Ability to learn basic properties of nuclear reactions and to solve problems.

1. The homework and mid-term exams of the student is assessed as the achievement of them in the semester.
2. At % 60 score of final examination is added directly to the others.

2. If the student don t make him homework and attend mid-terms, he does not access the final exam.
