Course Objective |
How radicals causing toxic effect form and the dismutation reactions occuring against this toxic effect will be enlightened by discussing permanent damages, degenerative diseases and ageing periods which occur in organism in the case of imbalance between radicals and defence system although there is an antioxidant defence system on the purpose of scavenging these free radicals forming in metabolism. |

Meaningful learning of the basic concepts given in presentations, association of concepts with each other, establishing the cause-result relationships and making comments by using the information available for problems and evaluating idea generation are carried out with mid-term, final and resit exams, active participation to the lecture, homework. |
