Course Objective |
This course is in the form of a potpourri of fairly novel networking technics and/or technics that may be used in Networking. Each attending student proposes and presents a different network technology topic which may be a software or hardware solution approach to a kind of well-known networking problem. Topics may be related to Data Transmission Media and devices, Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Long-Distance Communication, Packet Transmission, Packets and Frames, Error Detection, Frame Format and Error Detection Mechanisms, Security, LAN Technologies and Network Topology, LAN Active Devices, Long Distance Digital Communication Technologies, WAN Technologies and Routing, Protocols and Layering, Internetworking, IP Datagrams, Wireless networks. |
