Course Objective |
Fisheries is a production method that provides input to the local economy as a result of a particular investment and effort. Fisheries provide not only continuous income to the economy but also high quality animal protein for human nutrition. In order to increase the animal protein sources, the nations, especially aware of the importance of having a balanced feeding habits, are looking for the various ways to benefit in higher rates from their national waters and also offshore waters. Those nations invest in to fisheries from this day for a better utilization in the future. In this context, "Far Sea Fisheries" concept is need to be taken in the consideration in the scope of development programs at national level. The concept should be approached with a modern understanding for making a good start on a solid foundation and provide continuity. |
