Course Objective |
The course objective is to introduce types of corrosion which metallic and ceramic materials encounter in corrosive environments at high temperatures and to make the student become familiar with the mechanisms, experimental evaluation and the methods of control of high temperature corrosion processes so that the student can select the proper materials and processes for protection from this type of corrosion. |
