Course Objective |
Even if popular names for most of animals and plants are used, all known life (and past life) has a strict formal name. The nomenclature of any organism is a classification system known as Taxonomy, and its importance, and the different divisions recognised, are discussed in this lesson. The aim of this course is to examine and explain the rules of taxonomy which were accepted by International Botanical and Zoological Congress. |
