Course Objective

Main targets of this course are to perform computer-aided seismological analysis such as earthquake location in modern seismology, analysis of earthquake catalogue, focal mechanisms solutions, stress tensor analysis, analysis of earthquake and ambient noise data, transforms and filters in with Seismic Analysis Code (SAC).

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1	To be able to define common softwares in seismology
2	To be able to analyse earthquake location and catalogue analysis with computer
3	To be able to compute focal mechanisms in computing environment
4	To be able to perform computer-aided stress tensor analysis
5	To be able to perform seismological data-analysis in time and frequency domain
6	To be able to analysis earthquake and ambient noise data
