This course investigates the general image processing techniques and its applications on geophysical data collected from archaeological sites; investigates the general knowledge about the archaeological settlements and some image concepts, theoretical and basic principles of image processing, preparing the geophysical data for image processing and applications of the image processing in archaeogeophysical investigations. The course discusses the relationship between archaeological settlements and geophysical data. Particularly, according to archaeogeophysical concept, combined geophysical data and its relations with archaeological structures will be defined.
