Course Objective |
Solid phase extraction is analytical technique extensively used in separation and preconcentration of metal ions and organic molecules. The extraction efficiency of solid phase extraction depends on the type of sorbent used and interactions between the analyte and sorbent. The objective of this course is to present the recent innovations in the sorbents used as solid phase extractors for metal ions and organic molecules. The sorbents used in recent years in this purpose will be discussed in detail. The emphasis will be also given to application of several solid phase extraction systems for automated preparation of environmental, food and biological samples. |
