Course Objective

Calibration, definition, importance, necessity, calibration instructions and organizations, environmental conditions suitable for calibration, calibrators, test-measuring instruments and traceability, calibration schedule for devices / period, calibration procedures, calibration devices, filling and storage of documents, the unit is to teach students to issues of function tests.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learn about the Calibration standards.
2   Recognize the Calibrators.
3   The calibrator is able to understand and perform the test using measurement instruments.
4   Calibration to make biomedical devices.
5   Assessment report on our results.

10 Phototherapy, Temperature measurements (Incubators; Baby warmers)
11 Calibration application (Ventilator, Anesthesia device calibration and measurement of medical gases)
12 Flow calibration (Infusion pumps, perfusor devices)
13 Therapeutic Ultrasound Power measurement
14 Calibration of X-Ray devices Phantoms
15 Measurement, Analysis of results and preparation and archiving of Calibration document
