Course Objective

This course aims to provide information about the festivals as one of the religious tourism attractions to students, to explain the structure and operation of different cultures religious events and festivals, and to examine event management with its all dimensions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Define the event concept and distinguish classification of event types
2   Acquire knowledge about planning process of events
3   Learn the operation and management of events and all components of this process
4   Improve the abilities of decision making concerning event management
5   Achieve knowledge about events and festivals in religious tourism
