Course Objective

To examine the causes and effects of the economic crises, to evaluate crisis indicators and the attitudes of international institutions in the financial crises, and to analyze the impacts of social classes on crisis from the crisis to the world-wide and Turkish economy.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to understand economic crises
2   Students will be able to understand the causes of economic crises
3   Students will be able to learn the effects of economic crises on Turkish Economy
4   Students will be able to learn the effects of economic crises on the world economy

11 Turkey crises: evaluation of crises of 1994, 2000 and 2001
12 The evaluation of the 2008 mortgage crisis: the effects on the world and our economies
13 Discussing and analyzing the common features of living crises
